Welcome...here's how it works!
1. We accept up to 20 items a week per family on MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, & FRIDAYS. (9AM - 4PM) No appt. needed. I REALLY appreciate those who stick to these days. NOT ACCEPTING KIDS & MATERNITY CLOTHES & SHOES AT THIS TIME. 2. Clothing must be freshly washed, free of stains & rips, and in current style. In order to help me get your items out on the floor faster, PLEASE have all buttons, snaps & zippers must be closed. I'm no longer accepting kids clothes, size 12.***(Please refer to note on the CPSIA act below to learn more about the Lead Law.)***

3. Non-clothing items must be clean, in good condition, and in working order. All parts included. Please call ahead for large items. As of Jan. 2010, we will NO LONGER accept VHS's(videos)***(Please refer to note on the CPSIA act below to learn more about the Lead Law.)***
4. We determine sale price based on condition, brand name, & inventory level. We will have occasional sales to help move merchandise.

5. Consignors receive 40% of selling price. Payout is done at the end of the month, at which time checks are sent home to those accounts that have $10.00 or more, minus a postage fee of .50¢ .

6. Consignors may use money owed to them as a store credit and receive a 10% discount off their purchases of regular priced items for doing so.

7. While reasonable precaution will be taken for consigned items, Trading Post for Little Folks will not be held accountable for any stolen, lost or damaged merchandise.

8. Our goal is to sell your items, however, we do have to donate items occasionally at the end of a season. ***Please visit our "About Us" page for updated list of items we do need.

The CPSIA ACT...The Lead Law
On Feb. 10th 2009, the CPSIA Act went into affect. This means that there can be no more than 600 ppm(parts per million) of lead in any children's product ages 12 years & under. These products include clothing, toys, books, bedding, equipment & furniture. Below I've listed items I'm no longer accepting because I CANNOT afford to test everything I have in stock for traces of lead. If you have any questions, please give me a call.
